How the Clip Is Chosen

The tool reads the length of the video, puts the center at the halfway point, and keeps 15 seconds before it and 15 seconds after it. Those 30 seconds are then re-encoded as an MP4. If the video is shorter than 30 seconds, the whole video is kept.

Nothing about the content is analyzed, so the middle may not be the interesting part. If you want the start of the video instead, use the Video Trimmer.
